So before I start this blog thing, I must say I'm new to this!! I'm not the best editor or writer out there, but I speak from the heart. Be prepared to find commas, and semicolons in the wrong place and even a period missing here or there, I'm just being real. They say you write how you speak so, I have a long ass way to go right? To all of my writing and editing friends.. I'm sorry I've done you no justice. But I want to say thanks for all the editing of my papers in particular. With that being said, "Welcome to the world of OMG moments baby!! I'm excited and scared a little, see being that I'm a fully time student (its been like forever) for those of you who work full time you feel me. This is my first unrelated to school thing I have done.
My purpose is to capture my OMG moments that I seem to have daily on my weekly bus rides to work. Ride the bus many of you turn up your nose.. but believe me a sistah does have a ride.. she chooses to ride the bus instead of gettin rode by the bastards who need to still OIL so that they can grab there crotch and say, " see mine is bigger than yours" . The gas prices are ridiculous or even if I can quote from on of the greatest def poets" WHOliarious" the man is a genius I might add. So with my bus rides which consist of taking 3 buses to work.. yes 3 fool, I run into some funny situations and characters. I just want to pay tribute to all of those who make my bus rides enjoyable. These people are the reason I stop wearing my ipod on the bus and bring a magazine just so I can catch the action.
Anyways.. stay tuned for my first couple of blogs and feel free to comment even if you think there whack.. all I can say is thanks to AC Transit.. work seems normal to me when I get there..
